Meet Mia Sindolic, RDH

When my peers were contemplating retirement, I embraced a new journey of continuous learning.

Building the Bridge and following “why”

I often wonder if the bridge was always there, or if I was building it as I walked.
Let me take you through the ‘why’s’ that have shaped my journey in dentistry.

Years of Dedication:

  • 1991-2008

Pediatric dentistry, preventive dentistry – I adopted prevention as a life philosophy.

During these years, I was learning from children… how to truly listen, think, talk, understand, feel, and work.
Research work shaped my mind to be always curious. It was in prevention, aiming to understand how to promote oral health in the most effective ways.
This period opened doors to helping children with special needs and their families, implementing personalized care for maintaining the delicate balance of oral and general health.

  • 2010

A new direction, North America beckoned. Family first.

  • 2015

My dental hygiene avatar was born.

  • 2020

After years of building my dental self again, the unforeseen challenges with CoViD-19 emerged, but that only enforced my determination to have a fulfilling, thriving career.

Silver Linings lined up

  • 2022

Successfully launched a mobile dental hygiene clinic, making it my primary vehicle to reach more people.

I was fortunate to be invited and joined “Gift from The Heart,” a Canadian charity that connects oral health care professionals to vulnerable Canadians facing barriers to essential oral health care.

  • 2023

A special honor was to become involved in a Project of the Ministry for Higher Education in Quebec, focusing on essential updates in dental hygiene programs and profession.

  • Today

I'm thrilled to connect with you here, where I can truly understand what you're going through.

I see you, a dedicated, knowledgeable, and responsible oral health care professional, and I firmly believe that “no-man’s- land” is not where dental hygiene should be.

In some of you, I see me that once were – questioning if it had to be so challenging.

Now, I can’t wait to share every detail with you and help you avoid the wrong turns and make the right decisions with ease.
